TS-Optics polar finder TSPFEQ with bracket - for ZWO AM5 mount
TS-Optics polar finder TSPFEQ with bracket - for ZWO AM5 mount
Codice articolo: TSPFEQ-AM5
The polar finder is attached to the ZWO AM5 mount and allows the exact polar alignment without further tools
♦ In a few seconds, the polar finder is attached to the side mount of the mount and can be removed after polar alignment.
♦ Works without app on the northern and also on the southern hemisphere (constellation he Big Dipper/Cassiopeia or Octans).
♦ The holder for the polar finder is from Wega Telescopes and is made of 3D-printed PETG, UV-resistant and dimensionally stable up to 80°.
♦ The polar finder fits well to the ZWO AM5 mount in terms of color
♦ The polar finder can be rotated in the holder and fixed in the correct position with the 3 plastic screws.
♦ Scope of delivery is polar finder and holder
♦ The dovetail bar also fits GSO, TS, Vixen and similar findershoes
TS Polar finder with holder for ZWO AM5 Harmonic Drive mount
The polar finder facilitates the polar alignment of the mount, the alignment of the hour axis to the celestial north or south pole. This allows you to achieve the necessary set-up accuracy for astrophotography within a few minutes. All you need is a clear view of Polaris.
No number crunching or additional apps needed
Operation is simple and intuitive. A big help for accurate alignment, the polar finder has a representation of the Big Dipper and Cassiopeia. Simply rotate the polar axis around its pivot until the constellation drawings are congruent with the constellations in the sky. This is easy and spontaneous! This way you can find the celestial pole in just a few steps. Even the use south of the equator is no problem, the pole finder also shows the stars of the constellation Octans.
This is how easy it is to attach to the ZWO AM5 mount
♦ Slide the polar finder into the mount and tighten the cross screw so that you can rotate the polar finder without play in the mount.
♦ Insert the polar finder with the holder into the lateral holder of the mount. The small lens points in the direction of Polaris.
♦ Simply rotate the polar axis around its pivot point until the constellation drawings are congruent with the constellations in the sky. One of the two constellations is always visible.
♦ Then bring the polar star into the small ring (Polaris) with the mount´s azimuthal and altitude setting.
♦ Done! You can start astrophotography. The polar finder with the holder can be removed and stowed away.
