ZWO Manual Filter Wheel for up to 5x 1.25" filters
The high-quality filter wheel is perfectly suitable for astrophotography, but also for visual observation. It is delivered already including all necessary adapters.
Up to 5 filters can be screwed into the wheel without any trouble. The adaption is done within a few minutes. The filters are inserted by using the 1.25" filter threads and remain protected in the inside of the filter wheel.
The simple use:
Operation is very easy, the wanted filter position will clearly snap into place, so the filter will always be in the best position. During observation, you can choose between different filters without removing the eyepiece.
Originally, the filter wheel was developed for astrophotography. For example, you can take beautiful colour images of celestial objects by using a monochrome camera and an L-RGB filter set. Especially under skies illuminated by artificial light, this method is an advantage over normal colour photography, as you can reduce stray light more efficiently.
All necessary adapters are supplied:
At the telescope side, the filter wheel has a female 2" filter thread. Additionally, an adapter to 1.25" is included, enabling the adaption to 1.25" and 2" (via reduction adapter) focusers.
At the eyepiece or camera side, a male T2-thread is available for directly attaching a camera. Additionally, an adapter to 1.25" for accepting 1.25" eyepieces is included.
