TS-Optics Photon 6" f/3.9 Advanced Newtonian 154/600 Telescope with Carbon Tube - Gen. 2
Codice articolo: TPC6F4G
The Photon Newtonian reflector with 154 mm aperture is optimized for astrophotography and offers enough backfocus for all common coma correctors, it is a fast travel telescope.
Aperture 154 mm (6") - focal length 600 mm - focal ratio f/3.9
High-quality parabolic primary mirror with 94 % forced mirror coating for a brighter image.
Improved 2" MONORAIL dual-speed focuser - metal base plate for even more stability
Sufficient back focus (working distance) for all common coma correctors and reducers
Carbon tube - ideal for astrophotography for more focus stability
Massive secondary mirror struts made of metal
With a length of only 51 cm and a weight of approx. 5 kg, the Newtonian is ideal for mobile use
Central marking on the primary mirror for easy collimation
Includes CNC tube rings and GP/EQ5 style dovetail bar with photo tripod connection
TS-Photon 154 mm f/3.9 Advanced Newtonian with Carbon Tube
The compact Newtonian with the carbon tube is optimized for astrophotography and offers very good speed for short exposure times thanks to the focal ratio of f/3.9. The generous back focus allows the connection of suitable coma correctors for very good field correction. We particularly recommend the TS GPU "Superflat" corrector. This turns the 6" Photon into a very good astrograph. With a weight of about 5 kg and a length of only 51 cm, the Newtonian is an ideal travel telescope and even fits in your hand luggage when traveling by plane. Of course, the Photon is also suitable for observing.
The advantages of the 6" TS Photon Newtonian:
Bright, high-quality parabolic primary mirror for very good contrast and sharpness
Improved 2" MONORAIL focuser with metal base and 1:10 speed reduction
Massive secondary mirror struts, twisting is no longer possible, which makes collimation easier
90 mm working distance from the 2" receptacle of the focuser, so that all common correctors can be used
Brighter image due to forced mirroring on primary and secondary mirror
Primary mirror cell and secondary mirror cell are adjustable and of course made of metal
Astrophotography with the TS-Photon 6" f/3.9 Newtonian:
Only a good coma corrector turns the Newtonian into a true astrograph. Our recommendation is the TSGPU "Superflat" corrector, which is made for this telescope. It will offer you a very high sharpness in the entire field. The illumination is very good up to APS-C format. Correction is even given up to full-frame format. Of course, we always recommend a FLAT for even brightness distribution. Suitable flat field generators are of course available from us. The working distance from the M48 thread of the GPU is 55 mm, making it suitable for all common cameras.
