Adapter to Newtonian for the RAP2DEL focuser

The adapter allows the connection of the TS RAP2DEL focuser to Sky-Watcher Newtonians from 150 mm aperture, such as Explorer or Quattro 150, and to the Skyliner Dobsons.

♦ Connection telescope side: plane adapter plate - fits to the Skywatcher attachment plate on the Newtonian / Dobsonian telescopes.

♦ Focuser connection: mount for ring dovetail of the focuser - fixed by three grub screws.

♦ The adapter allows the mounting of the RAP2DEL on Skywatcher Newtonians and Dobsonians from 6" aperture without drilling new holes in the tube. The existing attachment plate will continue to be used.

♦ No readjustment of the telescope is necessary, the change of the focusers takes only a few minutes.

♦ The adapter builds up only 6.5 mm

♦ The focuser can also be leveled (tilting) by push and pull screws.

♦ The focuser is not included in the scope of delivery

Telescope adapter for the TS focuser RAP2DEL on Newtonians and Dobsonians from Skywatcher
Equip your Skywatcher Newtonian (except Quattro 200/250/300) or Dobsonian telescope with the powerful TS Optics rack and pinion focuser RAP2DEL. The conversion is done in a few minutes and is done without drilling new holes in the tube. Also a new collimation is not necessary.

In addition to dual-speed, precise 2" ring clamping and accurate adjustment by the helical rack, the RAP2DEL focuser also features an M54x0.75 female thread for screw adaptations.

The conversion is this simple:

♦ Attach this adapter to the dovetail ring of the RAP2DEL. The opening of the 3 grub screws points towards the focuser.
♦ The Skywatcher focuser is attached to the base plate with three pull screws. Loosen these three pull screws and remove the focuser.
♦ Then attach the TS RAP2DEL to the base plate with this adapter, you can continue to use the three pull screws of the old Skywatcher focuser.

♦ Done! Nothing has been adjusted on the telescope itself. You can start observing or photographing immediately.
