Antares Variable polarizing filter - 1.25% - 1% ... 40% transmission
Codice articolo: FXP1
Antares FXP1 - variable polarizing filter for 1¼" eyepieces
Adjust the transmission continuously from 1% to 40%
The brightness differences in the details of many solar system objects vary in a wide range. This can be seen particularly at:
Lunar craters near the terminator
Solar spots and faculae
Planetary details
Glare caused by bright regions prevents the reception of fine detail. With a variable polarizing filter, you can individually adjust for the dampening factor. The brightness reduction is color neutral.
FXP1 Transmission range can be adjusted continuously from 1% to 40%.
Operation:
The variable polarizing filter consists of two single filters who can be twisted against each other. This causes the variable light transmission.
Image above - Example on the moon:
According to its current phase, the moon shows extreme brightness contrasts. With the FXP, you can adjust exactly for the brightness that is comfortable for you eyes.
