TS 60 mm f/6 MPT ED Refractor
This compact ED refractor is one of the most versatile telescopes we know. The refractor offers versatile expansion possibilities up to a compact APO telephoto lens with integrated 1.0x corrector. The basis is the 60 mm ED objective with 360 mm focal length. The multi-coated lens offers a sharp and high-contrast image. The ED element corrects chromatic aberrations very well. However, the versatile use is due to the sophisticated mechanics.

The mechanics of the TSMPT60 allow versatile use

♦ Use as angle finder with 1.25" star diagonal or Amici prism:
The internal extension is screwed in. The 1.25" helical focuser is connected. Focusing with all commercially available 1.25" eyepieces is no problem in conjunction with a 1.25" star diagonal.

♦ Use as a straight-view finder or guiding telescope:
The internal extension is extended. The 1.25" helical focuser is connected. The connection of autoguiding cameras via 1.25" adapter and of eyepieces is possible.

♦ Use as 360 mm f/6 APO telephoto lens for photography and astrophotography:
The internal extension is extended. The 1.25" helical focuser is unscrewed. The optional 1.0x corrector is screwed on instead. (See accessories section). The working distance from the M48 thread on the corrector is 55 mm. Focusing is achieved by twisting the mount of the ED objective. This focusing is extremely accurate, the focus can be set to within 0.005 mm for perfect imaging on axis and in the field.
