Antlia Solar Discover energy protection filter with cell - free opening 200 mm
Codice articolo: ANERF200
The pre-filter prevents heat from entering the tube and is necessary for H-alpha and calcium solar photography and solar observation
Free aperture is 200 mm
Suitable for 200 mm to 250 mm tube diameter
25 nm transmission in the H-alpha and calcium range - 90 % transmission
Min. 1/4 lambda accuracy - plane-parallel disks in high-quality mount
Stable attachment to the telescope via 6 metal screws with plastic tip
Antlia energy protection filters for solar observation and solar photography
The filter is placed in front of the telescope and thus prevents infrared heat radiation from penetrating the inside of the telescope. This prevents heating with all its consequences. The seeing improves dramatically and contrast filters, such as H-alpha or calcium, can also be used with larger telescopes.
The filter transmission
The ERF has two transmission ranges, on the one hand H-alpha around 656.3 nm and on the other hand a window around CaK (393 nm) and CaH (396.8 nm). This allows the important light ranges for solar observation and photography to pass through. Other areas and in particular the IR light are reflected.
Attaching to the telescope
Especially when observing the sun, it is important that the energy protection filter does not come off. That is why this filter is held in a high-quality temperature-compensated cell. The cell is fixed to the telescope with a total of six knurled screws. The screws are provided with a plastic tip to prevent scratches on the telescope.
