An often underestimated flaw with astronomical telescopes are reflecting parts inside of of the telescope, yet only one bare screw is sufficient for causing an unwanted reflex.
Blackboard paint can be used for blackening the complete inside of your tube or just for matting single parts. It is a comperatively small investment in the imaging quality of your telescope.
Practical tip from Teleskop-Service:
If you mix finely sieved bird sand, sawdust or poppy seed with the varnish, the surface will become rougher and, especially at small angles of incidence of the stray light, reflection is further reduced.
Especially black anodized aluminium surfaces should be treated with blackboard coating. Just look into your telescope at daylight and check for reflections.
